Shower Steamer FAQs

  1. What is a shower steamer?
Sometimes referred to as a shower bomb, a shower steamer is a product similar to a bath bomb which dissolves in water. Shower steamers release essential oils, creating an aromatherapy experience in the shower. The essential oils combined with the steam of the shower are known to have different health benefits.
  2. How is a shower steamer different from a bath bomb?
The main difference is that bath bombs are placed in the bath, while shower steamers are placed in the corner and just splashed with water to activate the essential oils. They should not be use in the bath as the skin contact and high concentration of essential oils may cause an allergic reaction.
